Hill Country Region

Events

We hold multiple activities each month that will let you enjoy life in the Hill Country area and your car.  We get together often for social events, including lunches, happy hours, wine tastings, and out-of-town excursions.  We have a number of amateur and professional race drivers in our region who would love to help you enjoy driving your car, whether you want to drive leisurely through the twisty roads in central Texas, spiritedly at a Driver Education event, or competitively at a Club Race or Autocross.

Please look through our site and you'll get a feel for who we are and what we like to do.  Then please come to one our social events to meet us and tell us what you like and what your interests are!  You do NOT need to be a member to come to our social events.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14th HCRPCA HOLIDAY PARTY!!!  Our Holiday Party this year is at the Steiner Ranch Steakhouse located at 5424 Steiner Ranch Blvd, Austin, TX.  Dinner, door prizes, great people, stunning hill country views and our traditional white elephant gift exchange is always a BLAST! We want to have at least 100 people and I think we can do it based on the responses I’ve seen to other things this year. Cash bar starts at 6pm and dinner around 6:45.  Tickets are $40 per person and MUST be purchased in advance at https://clubregistration.net/events/event-details.cfm?event_id=6148

Our club membership is hard at work putting together a route for the Fall Drive Tour Saturday, October 25. The Fall Drive is on Saturday, October 25th.  We will start and finish at the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave.  The drive will be southwest of there through the Texas Hill Country (Blanco, Fredericksburg, etc.).  Look for more information soon.

As you are probably aware, it seems imminent that our beloved "home track" is going to go away in the next year or so.  It is likely that this will be the last DE at TWS with the HCR Touch of Weird.  If you have driven TWS before, come bid a proper farewell.  If you have not driven TWS before, you absolutely owe it to yourself to drive one of the most underrated tracks in the country before it goes away!

These events fill up quickly, and the few reaming events will only get worse.  So if you intend to come, you literally need submit your application as soon as registration opens.  It will be a great event.  We hope to see you there.

When: October 18, 19 2014 (Registration opens on Sept 18 at high noon)
Where: Texas World Speedway, College Station
