If you’ve ever been curious about what Autocross involves, don’t miss this detailed discussion of the ins and outs of an Autocross event. This Zoom session is perfectly timed ahead of HCR’s upcoming Autocross event on October 10, 2026.
Whether you intend to join us for an HCR Autocross event, this talk is worth while because knowledge of autocross driving skills translates into safer roads and highways for all drivers. SEPTEMBER 18/19 FRI-SAT TEEN STREET SURVIVAL SCHOOL
Public Safety Training Center Austin Community College’s Hays County Campus

Friday Sept 18 reserved for set-up of the course. The actual event is on Sept 19.
Open to young drivers between the ages of 16-21, the school doesn’t teach students how to drive; rather, it teaches young, licensed drivers how to drive better and more confidently, providing them with the skills they’ll need to safely navigate unexpected emergency situations out on the road. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too.

Join us for another exciting driving tour to the renowned BLACK’S BBQ in New Braunfels.
