ANNUAL MEETING – Additional Details
 
As we move into 2021, one of the first orders of business is to hold our Annual Meeting, as required by our club’s bylaws. However, the EC thought we should give members a bit more information about the meeting, so you can know what to expect this year and timing of the meeting.
 
The date for our 2021 Annual Meeting is Saturday January 23 at 3:00 PM. This year it will be a virtual Annual Meeting using Zoom webinar. This will work much the same as our DSS events, where we present information and slides on the screen, and participants can ask questions via the chat feature.
 
While Bruce Harris will go through our year-end Financials, we will also hear from Chuck Bush (our Zone 5 President), and Chuck will give us an update on Zone and National happenings. Additionally, we plan to show you the makeup of the Executive Council, the entire Board, and our Event Coordinators so you can put some names with faces. Finally, we want to present our 2020 annual awards, including Volunteer of the Year, Enthusiast of the Year, and the Rika Preuss Award, as well as our sponsor awards. While this seems like a lot to cover, we expect to wrap up the meeting in about 45 minutes, including some Q&A throughout the course of the meeting.
 
We hope you will all attend, as this meeting is done for all of you…our members. It is our way of giving members a status report on the club, and have a bit of fun recognizing some terrific achievements of our award recipients. This meeting will be structured so those attending can ask questions of any of the presenters, the Executive Council, Board members and/or Event Coordinators.
