Partner with friends and family for a Hill-Country Spring Scavenger Hunt Drive on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This hunt comes to you courtesy of Charlie, Ava, and Ella Pitkin, who enjoyed our winter hunt so much they were inspired to create this one.
A tech-savvy team member who can serve as a navigator is required. And cellular technology (with a camera) will be needed to decode the clues, solve the riddles, and report your team’s finds.
The hunt includes two options: one for our puzzle-crazy members, and another-“Scavenger Hunt Lite”-for our members who are new to the area or just want a more relaxed way to enjoy the fun. You chose how to complete this un-timed event.
This event will be limited to 22 vehicles. Available vehicle seating will limit the number of persons per team.
WAIVER AND NON-REFUNDABLE $10 FEE REQUIRED FOR CONFIRMATION
1. All non-minor participants must register on ClubReg and sign the e-waiver form. Your e-signature must be verified before we can confirm you as a participant. Parents or guardians must sign a waiver for minors in person on the day of the event. Click HERE to register.
2. A non-refundable $10 fee must be paid by all HCR PCA member drivers via ClubReg.
*The failure to provide the requisite waiver or the fee will prevent you from being confirmed and participating in the scavenger hunt.
Minors and other guests can sign the e-waiver on-site the morning of the event.
EVENT DETAILS
We’ll meet in the parking lot at the Four Points Starbucks on 620 at 8:15. The FourPoints Starbucks is located at 7710 N FM 620 Unit 610, Austin, TX 78726.
All participants will be checked in and assigned a team number that will be recorded by using a telephone number with texting capabilities. Each vehicle will constitute a team.
We will gather to give an overview, answer questions, and handout your team’s list of clues and riddles. The hunt will start by 9:00 a.m.
Teams will be expected to report their finds via text along the way. We will tally the team finds upon your arrival at the final destination.
Teams are expected to obey all traffic laws; it’s not a race, so go at your own pace and enjoy the spectacular hill-country views.
Join us for a post-hunt at our final destination so we can announce our winners.
*Please note that some destinations may have gravel drives or parking lots.
