FIRST WINE SOCIAL OF THE YEAR

Following up on the success of our wine socials in 2023, HCR will host another moderately priced wine social on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This event is being hosted by Kam and Holly Barnes at their home in Onion Creek in South Austin.
We will continue the tradition of a specific wine theme for each event. Whereas our previous two events featured Texas wines and a World Tour, this event will feature wines from Italy. Our hosts have selected three red wines and one white wine, plus a sparkling white wine to start. Each guest will begin with a two ounce pour of each wine. Our host has engaged a sommelier friend to briefly introduce each wine.
Light appetizers and snacks (with an Italian flavor, of course) will be provided to compliment the tastings. After the initial pours of the wines, guests can enjoy additional pours of one or more of the wines if they want to enjoy a bit more of any of the five wines initially tasted.
The cost is $40.00 per person, which includes all wine and food and is payable at registration.
Registration opens Sunday, January 7, at noon at https://clubregistration.net Due to space and parking limitations at the Barnes residence, attendance will be limited to 30 guests. If the event limit is reached prior to the close of registration, any subsequent registrants will be placed on a waitlist, which will be used to fill any cancellations. Registration will close Thursday, January 18, at 5:00 PM.
The address and parking recommendations will be emailed to confirmed registrants two days in advance of the event.
Refund policy: Refunds will be available for cancellations received prior to the close of registration. Refunds for cancellations after that date will be made only if the spot can be filled from the waitlist.
