On Friday, April 26, 2019, a small group of 17 HCRPCA members and guests had the opportunity to experience the world-class famous Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille lunch extravaganza. And let me tell you, I was blown away! Since this was my first time to ever dine at Perry’s, I was anxious to try the restaurant, and I wasn’t disappointed with our seating…we dined in the very private Vault. Yes, it used to be the vault in a long-forgotten bank…the vault door is still in place. I think most, if not all, of us had the lunch special pork chop. It was huuuuge. (Cue background music playing theme from the Flintstones). I couldn’t eat it all, but one of our members did: James Dilling. He managed to scarf down the whole hunk. I looked at his plate at the end and there were just two lonely bones left, so James won the Hungry Man award that day.
Seriously, though, it was a terrific setting, great meal, excellent company and conversation, and outstanding people. Not surprising.
Many thanks to Chris McChesney for organizing the luncheon and providing the pics!
