11/12/2024 – Tuesday – HCR Board of Directors meeting at Tuscano Italian Kitchen, 1525 Cypress Creek Parkway, Cedar Park. Plan on arriving at 5:30 to place your dinner order. This is the last BOD for 2024 and most likely the last in Cedar Park, we are looking for a new venue.
11/14/2024 – Thursday – Lunch Bunch returns to Pappadeau Seafood Kitchen, 11:30 – 1:30 PM.
After visiting a few venues new to us in recent months, Lunch Bunch returns to an old favorite. Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen serves New Orleans style dishes. Join us to enjoy one of the offerings from the extensive menu as well as the always scintillating company of your fellow club members. Join us at Pappadeaux, 11617 Research Blvd., Austin.
11/17/2024 – Sunday – North informal Get Together, join us 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance. Red Horn serves great coffee and breakfast items. See you there!
11/21/2024 – Thursday – Brewery Night! Join us at Black Star Co-op, 7020 Easy Wind Drive, Austin beginning at 5:30 until 7:30 pm! Plan to do this before the hectic holiday season begins!
Black Star is just around the corner after you enter the apartment/business park, right next to the light-rail tracks. Parking is available around the corner and in the nearby garage. Food is also available on site, no registration required.
11/21/2024 – Thursday – COBB Tuning – THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM NOVEMBER 7 and will return to its normal schedule in December.
Our advertiser and sponsor COBB Tuning, will hold a rescheduled event this month on November 21 celebrating their 20th anniversary! As usual, it will be at their headquarters in Austin. COBB sells their Accessport which remaps a car’s ECU to gain horsepower and torque. They also manufacturer and sell aftermarket performance products; air induction, exhaust, cooling etc. This is a non-PCA HCR event, and various other car manufacturers will be represented there as well. COBB is located at 2311 W Rundberg Lane, Austin.
11/27/2024 – Wednesday Friendsgiving Happy Hour! Join your fellow HCR members again this year for a Friendsgiving happy hour beginning at 4:00 PM.
Join us for our annual Friendsgiving Happy Hour, an informal get-together before the bustle of the holidays! This year, we will be on the patio at District Kitchen. For more information on their Shoal Creek location, visit https://districtaustin.com/. Registration is not required.

12/3/2024 – Tuesday – Sippin’ in Dripping’ – The monthly HCR Meet-Up in The Hill Country – this is a standing event on the 1st Tuesday evening of each month 6:30 – 8:30 PM! Just drop in. 12/7/2024 – Saturday We are excited to announce that Premier Dealer Porsche Austin has once again graciously invited HCR to host its Annual Holiday Party at their North facility, located at 9800 Research Blvd., Austin, TX 78759. Valet parking will be available upon your arrival.
Dress: Cocktail Attire (No Jeans)
6:00 PM- Social Hour includes a cash bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres
7:00 PM- Served Buffet with your choice of beef or chicken. Vegan options can be requested
Tickets are $125.00 per person, and are limited to 150 attendees so please register early. Registration will open on Monday October 28, 2024 at www.clubregistration.net.
Raffle tickets will be available at check-in and bidding on our Silent Auction opens at 6:00 PM. All proceeds from our Raffle and Silent Auction will be donated to HCR community service organizations.
We also ask that you bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Austin Police Department’s Blue Santa Toy Drive. We have organized this for previous holiday parties, and your generosity has always been overwhelming.

12/7//2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.

12/14/2024 – Saturday – Johnson City Christmas lights and display! Once again, we are planning a “Drive and Arrive” (not a formal HCR event/tour) to Johnson City to see the Christmas lights. With over 2 Million Christmas lights, the Johnson City display is so big, NASA reported seeing it from space! The nearby PEC headquarters is a must-see as well, with its beautiful oak trees lit with more than 1.3 million sparkling LED lights.
Plan on arriving in Johnson City before sundown, having dinner (reservations are highly recommended), and then walking the historic downtown and town square. There is plenty of local food, beer, wine, and festivities in a family-fun atmosphere to enjoy. See you there!
