Dec 18: Light Me Up Tour!

This will be our first evening tour. We are planning a drive out to Johnson City to see the town Christmas lights. Johnson City really does it right. The Court House and town square are really lit up…so much so that it registers on some NASA  Telescope! Seriously.

We will be meeting about 5ish in the evening, probably somewhere out at the Hill Country Galleria and drive straight out to Johnson City. Dinner is optional and there are several places to choose from. More details and dining spot recommendations will be forthcoming.

Details are on the HCR Calendar along with the link for registration.

Dec 11: Sim Driving Catered Lunch and Tech Session at Porsche Austin

These were two separate, but associated, events at Porsche Austin on the same date!

The Sim Racing luncheon was well attended. Thanks to Xspace Group and Porsche Austin for a great Sim Driving event on Saturday for new and existing Sim Drivers to learn about the art of Sim Driving and drive the simulator. Special congratulations to our season winner Geoffrey Price and our special season co-host Riley Dickinson.

Everyone had a great time at Porsche Austin's tech session learning about some air-cooled classics, the PDK transmission, and the Taycan's technology. Porsche Austin generously provided twenty door prizes: stuffed goodie bags and extra-large calendars. Special thanks to Aldo Abad, Steve Schermerhorn, James Purpura, and Eliseo Mendoza for supporting HCR!

Our objective continues to be to keep our membership up to date on what is going on in HCR, as well as PCA nationally. Please remember, our goal is to deliver events where members can choose their level of participation. We will continue to stress safe and fun events!
