10/1/2024 – Tuesday – Sippin’ in Dripping’ – The monthly HCR Meet-Up in The Hill Country – this is a standing event on the 1st Tuesday evening of each month 6:30 – 8:30 PM! Just drop in. No reservation needed for this informal opportunity to Meet-Up with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts. 10/2/2024 – Wednesday – Ladies Luncheon – at Tony C’s in Avery Ranch, 10526 W. Parmer Lane, Austin. Join us starting at 11:30 AM.

10/2/2024 – Wednesday – Sips ‘n Sticks, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Casa de Montecristo, 3801 N. Capitol of Texas Highway, Austin.
Come join us for the next Sips ‘n Sticks cigar and whisky tasting event at Casa. This is the post-Summer Q3 event with the familiar Bourbon theme with some new selections that hopefully some have not tasted before. As usual the tasting selection will include four different whiskeys that will be paired with a premium cigar (or two) hand selected from the humidor by Justin (from Casa). Please come and join us October 2nd from 6 to 8pm at the Casa de Montecristo Cigar Lounge in the Davenport Village Shopping Center in West Austin. The cost is $50pp payable at the door with either cash or card. All whiskey and cigar fans are invited and you are welcome to attend for the whiskey tasting only (no cigar) but the entrance fee is still $50pp. Snacks will be provided. The event is capped at 20 attendees and all are welcome!

10/3/2024 – Thursday – First Thursday at COBB Tuning. Our advertiser, COBB Tuning, holds an event each first Thursday of the month at their headquarters in Austin. COBB sells their Accessport which remaps a car’s ECU to gain horsepower and torque. They also manufacturer and sell aftermarket performance products; air induction, exhaust, cooling etc. This is a non-PCA HCR event, and various other car manufacturers will be represented there as well. Join the fun at COBB Tuning, 2311 Rundberg Lane, (around the back) Austin. Begins at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
10/5/2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.
10/6/2024 – Sunday – Let’s Get Together Rudy’s Country Store, 7709 RR 620, Austin, 9:00 am – 11:00 am. This is a great opportunity to chat with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts, while showing off your own Porsche beauty! Swing by at your leisure – no reservation needed.
10/10/2024 – Thursday – Lunch Bunch – 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, Red Bud Ice House (near old airport)
Lunch Bunch heads east to yet another new restaurant for our group. We will sample the offerings on Redbud’s interesting menu. Join us to enjoy some tasty burgers, sandwiches, salads and sides and the always engaging company of your fellow club members.

With over 8 years of experience in the paint protection, ceramic coating and window tint industry, Angel Calvo has opened Austin Film Solutions. AFS is hosting an Open House with drinks and snacks on October 16 at 4:00 to introduce the Porsche community to her new shop and creative team. 10/17/2024 – Thursday – Brewery Night, Last Stand Brewing!
Hoppy Hour – 10/17/24 – 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Parking and food on-site. There’s a full bar in case you don’t like beer, so come hang out anyway and bring friends who are in early for F1! No registration required.

10/19/2024 – Saturday – Join the “Fall Tour Spooktacular” as HCR heads north with pizza as a destination!
Join us Oct.19 for the last tour of the year, the “Fall Tour Spooktacular!” What makes this tour Spooktacular? Well, we start at East View High School in Georgetown, next we visit Holland (bet you didn‘t know you could drive to Holland), did you see any corn mazes on the way? Then onto Stillhouse Hollow, after that, watch out for crows! We’ll have some easy driving and great turns over country and hill country roads most of you haven’t traveled. We will end up for lunch at one of the best pizza spots in the region. Tour directions will be sent out Oct.16. Hope to see you there!

10/20/2024 – Sunday – NORTH – Come on out to our GTG location at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander, 9:00 am – 11:30 am. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance. Our cars will be on full display to anyone coming into the side parking lot entrance. Red Horn serves great coffee and breakfast items.
10/23/2024 – Wednesday – Our popular Happy Hour continues on a new night and a new venue! Join your fellow members Wednesday, September 25th at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse located at 5424 Steiner Ranch Blvd., Austin in Steiner Ranch. Steiner Ranch Steakhouse has a great happy hour menu. This event begins at 4:00 pm – hope to see you there!
10/26/2024 – Saturday – HCR and Mozarts present one of our most popular events – Cars, Coffee and Croissants!
Mozart’s Coffee has invited us to take center stage at Coffee, Cars, and Croissants for our semi-annual Event. We have our own 40-car Porsche Corral! Spaces are limited and will sell out quickly. ClubReg registration will be required to park your Porsche vehicle in the Porsche Corral. If you prefer to spectate, there’s copious overflow parking across the street.
If you haven’t been to Mozart’s Coffee, it is a beautiful, waterfront coffee house and bakery with a European feel overlooking Lake Austin. There’s picnic table seating on the upper and lower deck. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and post up next to your Porsche to interact with the crowd. As always, they’ve got fabulous Swag Bags for those registered for the Porsche Corral!

11/2/2024 – Saturday – Autocross registration opens on October 1. This will be our last time at the HEB Center. We have designed friendly to high power cars, yet still has challenging turns that the 718s will really enjoy. Non-Porsches are allowed. As always, we will have a novice course walk for both beginners and experienced drivers as well as plenty of instructors for ride alongs. PCA members with sons/daughters, nieces/nephews or even grandkids that are at least 16 years old and have their driver’s licenses (not permits), can drive as part of PCA”s Junior Participation Program. At only $45 for PCA members, this is a great opportunity to allow you to experience the handling limits of your vehicle . Unlike other autocross programs in the area, we limit the number of drivers to 60 which means that everyone will get 1 practice run and up to 10 timed runs. Participants will be divided into “classes” based on the characteristics of their cars and the winner of each class will receive a beautiful award plaque.
