The roads in 2025 lead to Oklahoma City for the 69th annual Porsche Parade! Here’s what you need to know:

🏁 Parade will take place July 6 – 12, 2025, in Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma.
🏁 Parade is fun for the whole family! There are events and activities for all ages and all interests – including kids and teens.
🏁 Parade registration is divided into two phases. In Phase I, you will make your initial commitment to attend Parade and make your hotel reservations. In Phase II, you will select your banquets, events, and activities. Registration dates are coming soon.
🏁 All hotel reservations must be made through the Porsche Parade Housing Bureau. Please do not contact local hotels directly. The block of rooms for Parade is secure. Don’t worry! There are plenty of rooms available. You have not missed out on any rooms or the Parade room rate.

We in Hill Country Region are twice-blessed, both in owning our world class Porsches AND to have Circuit of the Americas, a world class F1 track here in Austin! Some of our Members have taken advantage of both simultaneously, by participating in the HCR Schnell Fest High Performance Drivers Education weekend activities.

For those HCR Members who have never participated in a HPDE, and/or had the opportunity to do one at COTA, our Driving Team has pulled together a Special Program to enable them to sample this experience at a lower level of commitment, and with an accompanying lower cost than a full weekend at Schnell Fest.

Without compromising the quality of the experience we are offering four half-day sessions (Sat AM, Sat PM, Sun AM, & Sun PM) for five lucky drivers each at the upcoming March 8 & 9 Schnell Fest Weekend. So twenty drivers total will be able to participate in this opportunity. Drivers who have never participated in a DE before, or at COTA will be given priority at registration.

As part of this activity, each participant will receive both thirty minutes of classroom instruction, and two standard driving sessions of 25 minutes each on the F1 track under the tutelage of an experienced, PCA-qualified Driving Instructor.

We will have driving helmets available for you to borrow at the event, if you don`t have one. Additionally, your vehicle will need to pass a standard tech inspection.

Registration for the event opens at Noon on Wednesday January 22 on clubregistration.net, and the registration fee is $399.

To learn even more about this Special Program and High Performance Drivers Education in general, we are again offering an Intro to DE 101 Technical Session at the (also world class) Rudy`s BBQ opposite Central Market at 3914 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin 78756 on Tuesday, January 21 from 6-8 PM. Patty Liles and the DE Team will take attendees through the Basics and answer any questions that you might have. Come early to purchase your dinner. Registration for DE 101 is now open on Clubregistration.net.

For more information on either activity, please contact David Gross, dgross@grossandnelson.com, 512-497-1111

THANKS go out to to the entire HPDE Team
