It’s been about six months since we lost Rika Preuss.  On Saturday May 25, 2019, in honor of Rika, HCR and the Austin Mini Club celebrated her memory with a driving tour.  HCR Tourmaster Chris McChesney worked out a route through the northwest Hill Country that would bring a smile to her face as she wandered through the twists and turns.  The tour ended at the iconic Stagecoach Inn in Salado, where HCR and Mini members enjoyed the Inn’s hospitality and lunch.  We raised a toast to Rika, and a moment of silence was observed.  The Inn has recently been renovated and the restaurant is top notch.  Terry Rawlins, the General Manager, is a long time PCA member as well as an HCR member, and he ensured his staff did a terrific job for our group. Everyone enjoyed the event, for a very special person.
