Welcome to the driving page of the Hill Country Region, Porsche Club of America. Driving you say. Isn’t that what HCR is famous for. Please read on for information about the various types of driving events our Region hosts. From tours through the some of the best roads in the Hill Country, to a great Autocross program, to High Performance Driver Education events with tech sessions thrown to increase your enjoyment of the driving experience. There is something for everyone. The wide variety of the driving events we host form the basis for some great opportunities to
socialize with your fellow HCR members.

Types of PCA Driving Events

Hill Country Region is proud to be involved in several types of events, which are generally broken down as Track driving and Road driving.

Track

These events take place on a track, (either real or simulated) and are guided by experienced and certified instructors and adhere to local track and PCA technical and safety guidelines. They include:

• Autocross
• Driver Education (D.E.)
• Club Sport Racing
• Sim Racing

Road

These events take place on public streets, and as such do not require certification or an instructor, but do have to adhere to local highway laws. They include:

• Tours
• Rally
