The Porsche Club of America’s motto is “It’s not just the cars…it’s the people,” and that’s the heart of our Hill Country Region. While our passion for Porsches brings us together, it’s the connections we forge that make this club truly special.
Joining the Hill Country Region PCA means becoming part of a welcoming community of diverse individuals, all united by their enthusiasm for Porsche. We celebrate this shared passion through a variety of events throughout the year. From technical workshops (tech sessions) and high-octane driving experiences (Driver Education, or D.E.) to relaxed social gatherings, there’s something for everyone. And these events aren’t just for members – family and friends are always welcome to join the fun!
Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch is a social event hosted at various restaurants in the greater Austin area. Group seating arrangements are made in advance, and meals are typically paid for individually. These informal gatherings provide an opportunity for club members to meet and socialize, often engaging in discussions unrelated to automobiles. Join your fellow club members in a welcoming environment.
Happy Hours

Happy Hours are organized and held in two different sub-regions, in order to make them easier to attend by all interested. We have a North/Central Happy Hour coordinator for those wishing to attend something north of downtown Austin, and a South/West Happy Hour coordinator for those who would like to stay on the other side of Austin.
Happy Hours are typically held, well, during Happy Hour (weekdays, near the end of the business day) and are another great way to meet new people over a bite to eat and a drink. As with Lunch Bunch, these are typically “pay your own way”, and the emphasis is on meeting other club members. Despite the name, these events are often held at restaurants, without an emphasis on drinking.
Distinguished Speaker Series

The Hill Country Region has held several Distinguished Speaker events where we invite significant persons in motorsport or Porsche or related fields to speak with our club. These have been held in person but have also been done remotely in order to get more speakers and attendees involved.
We have started recording these when possible, and you can find them here: HCR Distinguished Speaker Series
Annual Events

The Hill Country Region hosts two annual events: a formal Holiday Dinner, which serves to celebrate our members and incorporates a philanthropic initiative supporting children in need through a gift collection drive, and a more casual Member Party.
