Mayflowers Tour to San Saba

HCR is excited to announce our upcoming Spring 2023 Mayflowers Tour to San Saba, Texas on Saturday May 20. This tour features some of the best twisty roads in Central Texas along with delightful scenery. And yes, there are twisties up north. We have driven some of these roads and can attest to that.

We’ll meet about 830 AM on May 20. Mike Butler is the Tour Coordinator and he’ll send out the meeting location during the week prior to the event. The tour will end in San Saba, and you’ll be free for lunch on your own or with some of your HCR friends. San Saba is the county seat and a one-red light town with several beautiful parks and great places for lunch.

Registration is now open at www.clubregistration.net. When you register, please remember to eSign our waiver, and verify your signature. As usual, we’ll ask for a $10.00 admin fee per car (NOT PER PERSON) payable when you register. The admin fee is non refundable unless HCR cancels the tour.
Your passenger/s have the option of registering on Clubregistration.net if they have an account. If not, we’ll have them sign the waiver at check in. If you have anyone under 18 with you, you’ll need to sign a minor waiver. We’ll have those at check in.

When Mike sends out the meet location, he’ll also send a list of restaurants in San Saba. Surprisingly, San Saba has several good restaurants.
This should be a great tour to an area we don’t often visit. Hope to see you there.
