Oktoberfest in March tour

Come join your fellow HCR members on March 19 as we have our first tour of the season as we head east from Georgetown.  Ken and Vicky Kalin have put together a nice tour route with almost no traffic.  And for those of you who haven’t driven this route there are some great twisties and some elevation changes.  Not what you expect for east of I35.  After we head east, we’ll loop back west and the tour will end in Walburg.  But as an added bonus, if you desire, we can start Oktoberfest in March with lunch at the Walburg German Restaurant.  (walburgrestaurant.net).  This is one of those hidden gems up north that not many know of.  What could be better for a Saturday morning?

Plan on meeting at 8:30 AM just east of Georgetown.   We’ll have some coffee and donuts to fuel you for the ride.  Our driver’s meeting will be about 8:45 and we plan the first cars on the  road at 900 AM.  As usual we’ll divvy everyone up into groups of no more than 15.  Registration is now open at www.clubregistration.net.  And remember we will ask you for a $10.00 fee to offset administrative costs.   And please remember we’ll send out the tour directions and meet location the week before the event.
