John Wester (Saga Motorsports) Car Collection tour

Hill Country is always on the lookout for unique stories related to motorsports. John Wester is one of those. John is a self-made businessman who has been active in the healthcare industry for many years. John has always been a car enthusiast, but unfortunately, if John wanted another car, he had to sell the car he had. As time went on, John became financially able to acquire multiple cars which contributed to his motorsport passion. Always buying something he liked regardless of the marque.

John was able to amass a collection of about 50 cars including Porsches, Ferraris, muscle cars and some of the finest examples of Pantera’s found in the US. Each of these cars has a story. The cars are located in an amazing warehouse decorated with automotive art and includes one of the finest motorsport-oriented man caves I have ever seen!

John has graciously invited us to visit his collection on December 10, 2022, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The collection is in South Austin, and we’ll provide the address a week prior to the event. We’ll have our usual breakfast tacos and coffee starting about 8:30 AM. Registration will open at www.clubregistration.net on October 24th. And for this event, we’ll ask for our usual $10.00 admin fee to help defray expenses. Due to space considerations, we must limit this event to 40 participants so register early.

In addition to his collection, John has extensive track experience having completed many Porsche High Performance Driving Courses and Mercedes AMG Academy Courses. John has experience driving several different high-performance Porsches on various tracks throughout the US including: COTA, Barber Motorsports, Eagles Canyon, Watkins Glen, MSRC, MSRH, VIR, Laguna Seca, and Mid Ohio among others.

Felix Elizardi, John’s COO will also be on hand to answer any questions. Felix is an avid car guy, tracks Porsches and assists John in managing and servicing his collector and track cars.

To support his love for motorsports and racing, John created The Stables at Gasoline Alley, SAGA Motorsports in 2017. SAGA is an invitation only race group which was initiated with two members, John and Felix. Since then, SAGA has evolved into approximately 20 members from all over the US that are joined together by their love of track driving. Besides having a strong passion for the Porsche brand, SAGA prefers Porsches because of their reliability and performance.
