A Social for all HCR members will be held at 5:00 PM at COTA on Saturday the 24th, details below and on our Calendar. Come early for parade laps at noon, a $20.00 donation suggested, stay for the track events and the Social!

2/6/2024 – Tuesday – HCR Meet-Up in The Hill Country – this is a standing event on the 1st Tuesday evening of each month. Just drop in. No reservation needed for this informal opportunity to Meet-Up with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts. 2/7/2024 – Wednesday – February’s Ladies Luncheon will be hosted by Amanda Compton at her home, 11:30 am – 1:30 PM. This will be a potluck with a Mardi Gras theme. Amanda will provide crawfish and shrimp etouffee, baked Brie and sparkling wine. If someone can help with decorations, please contact Amanda to discuss.

We’ve visited this Austin BBQ institution several times in years past and it has always gotten great reviews. Join us for some good old Austin BBQ and the always uplifting conversation with your fellow Porsche Club members. No pre-registration or RSVP required. Lunch Bunch is from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. 2/15/2024 – Thursday – Brewery Night, where the fun starts at 5:30 and ends around 7:30. Join our new Brew Meister, Stef Schrader for this month’s Brewery Night at Austin Beerworks. The venue is located at 3001 Industrial Terrace, North Austin (ABW’s original central location off Burnet). The Can-Tina food truck will be available and as always no registration is required.
2/18/2024 – Sunday – A new Drive-In event in the western area of Austin, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM!
Come join us for a drive-in event out West to meet a new sponsor, The Frog Pad Kitchen and Bath Designer Showroom in Lakeway! The Frog Pad specializes in kitchen and bath appliances and remodels. There were will a gathering outside in the parking lot showcasing outdoor kitchen equipment with plenty of BBQ, pizza and drinks available, and door prizes! The showroom will be open for anyone to take a look inside. Please plan on coming to Lakeway and join others for food and drinks out West and enjoy the drive out as well.
Note: This is weather permitting of course since it will mostly be outside. Registration will be required, go to Club Registration. Frog Pad is located on 1501 RM 620, Unit A, Lakeway, Texas.
2/18/2024 – Sunday – Get Together North – Join us 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance.

Happy Hour North, Thursday February 22, 2024. Join us for a new happy hour location in the heart of Georgetown. City Post Chophouse is excited to host February’s Happy Hour North. Known for their craft cocktails, oysters and Goodstock steaks, City Post is located just off the Georgetown square, 113 E 8th Street.

2/24/2024 – Saturday – Come join us for the first Schnell Fest of the year at COTA! This is a regular HPDE event put on by the HCR, Lone Star and Maverick regions. While you have to register separately for the driving event to be on track, you are welcome to join the Saturday track social catered by COTA at 5pm. There will be an assortment of sliders, beer, wine, soft drinks and water. The event is open to all drivers and anyone in HCR that wishes to join and explore COTA and see what happens on an HPDE weekend. A perfect opportunity to see the cars participating in the event and to talk to the drivers as well.
Some points to highlight. You must stop at the booth in the back of the track to sign the COTA and PCA waivers. You will then receive a wristband which you must wear while on the premises. Minor children are welcome but a legal guardian must sign a minor waiver. Pets are not allowed.
If you have never been to COTA please allow extra time to gain entry into the paddock area, find a place to park and find the room where the social is being held. Paddock Loft 201 is above the garages. Please ask anyone there for assistance if you are unsure of where to go.
3/2/2024 – Saturday – Spring Auto Cross 2024 registration is now open at Club Registration.
Date: March 2, 2024 – Location: H-E-B Center – 2100 Avenue of the Stars, Cedar Park, TX H-E-B Center
Start time: 7:30am
Mandatory Driver’s meeting: 8:30am
End time: 3pm (everyone must help with cleanup and awards)
Registration fee: $45 for PCA members, $55 for non-PCA individuals.
3/2/2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.
