Come join us for the next Sips ‘n Sticks cigar and whisky tasting event at Casa. Since it’s March we will return to the [theme TBD] with some new selections that hopefully some have not tasted before. As usual the tasting selection will include four different whiskeys that will be paired with a premium cigar hand selected from the humidor by Justin (from Casa). Please come and join us May 22nd from 6 to 8pm at the Casa de Montecristo Cigar Lounge in the Davenport Village Shopping Center in West Austin. The cost is $50pp payable at the door with either cash or card. All whiskey and cigar fans are invited and you are welcome to attend for the whiskey tasting only (no cigar) but the entrance fee is still $50pp. Snacks will be provided. The event is capped at 20 attendees and all are welcome!

Brewtorium has ample parking along with street overflow parking. They have beer, wine, and great food. If you haven’t had their Joe vs. the Avocado Bowl, you’re missing out!!

Women Porsche Enthusiasts of Hill Country Region are invited to rendezvous with Maverick Region’s Women Behind the Wheel in the charming city of Waco, TX. We will spend the afternoon enjoying each other’s company, sharing a delectable lunch at The Brasserie Restaurant in the new HOTEL 1928 at 11:30 am, and indulging in some retail therapy at the boutique shops at the Magnolia Silos.
Cost Per Person: $66.00 (includes lunch, one non-alcoholic beverage, tax & tip)

6/1/2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.

6/6/2024 – Thursday – New Event – First Thursday at COBB Tuning. Our advertiser, COBB Tuning, holds an event each first Thursday of the month at their headquarters in Austin. COBB sells their Accessport which remaps a car’s ECU to gain horsepower and torque. They also manufacturer and sell aftermarket performance products; air induction, exhaust, cooling etc. This is a non-PCA HCR event, and various other car manufacturers will be represented there as well. Join the fun at COBB Tuning, 2311 Rundberg Lane, (around the back) Austin. Begins at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
6/8/2024 – Saturday – HCR members are invited to the German Auto Show on Saturday June 8, sponsored by the German Texan Heritage Society. It will be held in downtown Austin in the Red River Cultural District, at 10th & Red River, from 9am to 1pm. In addition to display cars, there will be live music, and food and drink available for purchase. Tickets to the event are $10. There are limited spots available for HCR members interested in displaying your Porsche during the show – the event is especially looking for unique Porsches. If you would like to display your vehicle please contact Christopher Markley at director@germantexans.org. Please provide your name, phone number, and a brief description of the Porsche you would like to bring.
