Women Porsche Enthusiasts of Hill Country Region are invited to rendezvous with Maverick Region’s Women Behind the Wheel in the charming city of Waco, TX. We will spend the afternoon enjoying each other’s company, sharing a delectable lunch at The Brasserie Restaurant in the new HOTEL 1928 at 11:30 am, and indulging in some retail therapy at the boutique shops at the Magnolia Silos.

6/1/2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.

6/6/2024 – Thursday – New Event – First Thursday at COBB Tuning. Our advertiser, COBB Tuning, holds an event each first Thursday of the month at their headquarters in Austin. COBB sells their Accessport which remaps a car’s ECU to gain horsepower and torque. They also manufacturer and sell aftermarket performance products; air induction, exhaust, cooling etc. This is a non-PCA HCR event, and various other car manufacturers will be represented there as well. Join the fun at COBB Tuning, 2311 Rundberg Lane, (around the back) Austin. Begins at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
6/8/2024 – Saturday – HCR members are invited to the German Auto Show on Saturday June 8th, sponsored by the German Texan Heritage Society. It will be held in downtown Austin in the Red River Cultural District, at 10th & Red River, from 9am to 1pm. In addition to display cars, there will be live music, and food and drink available for purchase. Tickets to the event are $10. There are limited spots available for HCR members interested in displaying your Porsche during the show – the event is especially looking for unique Porsches. If you would like to display your vehicle please contact Christopher Markley at director@germantexans.org. In June we will convene at the Sundancer Grill overlooking the Sail & Ski Yacht Club marina on Lake Travis. We will enjoy the view from the large airy dining room. We’ve had several successful Lunch Bunches here in the past. So we know you will enjoy the food on their expansive menu as well as the sparkling and always engaging conversation with your fellow club members.

6/15/2024 – Saturday – A new Tech Session at HD Motorsports in Leander for Hill County PCA members on Saturday morning June 15, 2024, 9:00 am – 11:30 am. HD Motorsports focuses on high performance racing needs, on track or off-road, but also will perform routine procedures on your Porsche.

6/16/2024 – Sunday – NORTH – Come on out to our GTG location at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander 9:30 – 11:30 AM. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance. Our cars will be on full display to anyone coming into the side parking lot entrance. Red Horn serves great coffee and breakfast items, and are a terrific addition to our popular GTGs.

6/22/2024 – Saturday – Tour to Giddings, Save the Date!
Join us for a Tour to a Tasting, Saturday, June 22nd. Starting in Georgetown and ending in Giddings on some great east Texas roads. Once we arrive in Giddings the driving tour will be over, but, the days not over yet. We will be met by fellow HCR member and owner of Sixth Street Spirits, Brian Evans. He has once again invited us for a tour of his distillery and a premium tasting of his fantastic whiskey. When you are done with the tasting there are several lunch spots within easy walking distance. Watch for June 4th. posting on Club reg. We will be limiting this tour to 40 cars due to capacity for the tasting.
