“So You Want To Buy An Air-Cooled Porsche?” is the topic. Our friends at Werks 11 will put on a thorough information session, including comprehensive check-list of things to look for when buying an older P-Car.

May 4: Ladies Lunch at Saltgrass Steakhouse
May 2022 Ladies Lunch is in the history books. Michelle says they had a great time at Saltgrass Steak House. They had 2 first time attendees, and Michelle wants to give a special “thank you” to the ladies who joined in for the first time. All around “thanks” to all the HCR ladies for providing a warm HCRPCA welcome.
May 5: Irish Sips ’n Sticks
Another terrific social event this past Thursday at Casa de Montecristo. All the Irish Whiskey selections were excellent. Many thanks to our newest Event Coordinator, Andrew Garcia, for organizing this event. We will look to continue doing one of these each quarter going forward.
May 7: Spring Scavenger Hunt Rally
Congrats to the big turnout and everyone who showed up and participated yesterday! Many thanks to Charlie and his daughters for putting together the rally route and clues….nicely done! And congrats to the winning teams: I heard the "hard" route was won by the team of Stef Schrader and her partner, and the "easy" route was won by Bruce Harris and Jan Adams. They all got cool swag from Porsche Austin (including driving gloves!) plus XPEL Austin donated their terrific wash bucket systems (2). If you didn’t get to attend this rally, maybe we will do another one later in the year.
Our objective continues to be to keep our members up to date on all our planned events in HCR, Zone 5 and PCA nationally, and those of our sponsors and advertisers. Please remember: our goal is to deliver events where members can choose their level of participation, and we will continue to stress safe and fun events!
