There are two new events on the calendar that warrant your attention.
On Wednesday 6/26/2024, an informal drive to deliver our contribution supporting the Texas Burn Society at their annual camp in Kerrville takes place. Please RSVP to Kent Ketterman. All are welcome and once a roster is available rallying points will be established to meet from both the north and south parts of the Region. A big turnout would make a statement to one of our most important charities.
The second event is a brand new Meet and Greet at Porsche South Austin on Wednesday 7/10/2024. This is an opportunity to meet the new store General Manager, Matt Hokenson and to participate in a Q&A about the upcoming 992.2, including the hybrid GTS. The store is located at 6001 I35 NB Frontage Road in Austin. Drop in anytime beginning at 4:00 PM.

Here is what is happening in the Region.
6/20/2024 – Thursday – Brewery Night! 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Brewery Night at Hopsquad Brewing Co., ” https://www.hopsquad.com/“. 2307 Kramer Ln, Austin, TX 78758.
Parking is on-site, with a small lot in front of the brewery. Additional parking (and the easiest bet) is in the lot for the warehouses directly next to it on Braker Lane. Food is available at the pizza and taco trucks outside. No registration required.
6/22/2024 – Saturday – Tour to Giddings.
Join us for a Tour to a Tasting, Saturday June 22nd. Starting in Round Rock at the Walmart and ending in Giddings on some great east Texas roads. Once we arrive in Giddings the driving tour will be over, but, the days not over yet. We will be met by fellow HCR member and owner of Sixth Street Spirits, Brian Evans. He has once again invited us for a tour of his distillery and a premium tasting of his fantastic whiskey. When you are done with the tasting there are several lunch spots within easy walking distance.
We will be limiting this tour to 40 cars due to capacity of the tasting.

6/26/2024 – Wednesday – Texas Burn Society Charity Event.
Please join us for an informal drive to the Texas Lions Camp (Kerrville) to make a charitable contribution to the Texas Burn Survivor’s Society. We are asked to arrive by 10:00am on June 26 (Wednesday). A meet-up location will be provided later. Lunch will be provided. 6/26/2024 – Wednesday – Happy Hour at Steiner Ranch! Every 4th Wednesday, there will be a happy hour at Steiner Ranch. The exact location is yet to be determined. Plan to enjoy a drink with your fellow Porsche owners!!
6/30/2024 – Sunday – Tour of Italy Wine Social
This social will be held at the home of Michael and Gloria Dula in the Great Hills neighborhood in northwest Austin from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Our hosts will serve some of their favorite wines from Tuscany and other regions of Italy. We will sample a sparkling wine, a white wine and three reds. The hosts will prepare several Italian dishes chosen to complement the wines. After the initial pours of the wines, guests can enjoy additional pours of one or more of these wines if they wish.
The cost is $45.00 per person, which includes all wine and food and is payable at registration at ClubRegistration.net. Registration opens Tuesday, June 11, at noon. Attendance will be limited to 27 guests. If the event limit is reached prior to the close of registration, any subsequent registrants will be placed on a waitlist, which will be used to fill any cancellations. Registration will close Thursday, June 27, at 5:00 PM.

7/10/2024 – Wednesday – Happy Hour for HCR Members, hosted by Porsche South Austin.

There will be short presentations and Q&A featuring the new all-electric Macan and the upcoming hybrid 911 GTS. Facility tours will be available.
