The Hill Country Region Board of Directors is pleased to announce the following Leadership changes.
In compliance with HCR By-laws, a Nominating Committee has been established for the 2024 elections. Bruce Harris has been appointed Chair of the Committee, with Michele Freudenberger and Mike Seningen as Committee Members.
In addition, Ken Kalin has been appointed Driving Chair, replacing Stacey Soule who will become the HPDE Event Coordinator.
Please welcome and support these folks into their new positions and join the BOD thanking them for their spirit of volunteering.

7/21/2024 – Sunday – North informal Get Together, join us 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance. Red Horn serves great coffee and breakfast items. See you there!
7/24/2024 – Wednesday – Our popular Happy Hour returns on a new night and a new venue! Join your fellow members Wednesday, July 24th at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse located at 5424 Steiner Ranch Blvd., Austin in Steiner Ranch. Steiner Ranch Steakhouse has a great happy hour menu.
This event begins at 5:00 pm – hope to see you there!
7/27/2024 – Saturday – A brand new event, Ladies Brunch, at the League Kitchen and Tavern at Avery Ranch, 10526 W.Parmer Lane, Austin. The venue is located in Building 4, Suite 401. This event is designed for the Women of Porsche who cannot attend a weekday lunch, but would like to gather and meet each other on the weekend. Ladies Brunch begins at 11:30. Please register on Club Registration.
8/1/2024 – Thursday – First Thursday at COBB Tuning. Our advertiser, COBB Tuning, holds an event each first Thursday of the month at their headquarters in Austin. This is a non-PCA HCR event, and various other car manufacturers will be represented there as well. COBB got their start with Subarus and have since branched out to Fords, VW, Audis, Porsches and a few others. Join us at COBB Tuning, 2311 W Rundberg Lane, Austin, 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
8/3/2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.
8/4/2024 – Sunday – CENTRAL – Let’s Get Together Rudy’s Country Store, 7709 RR 620, Austin, 9:00 am – 11:00 am. This is a great opportunity to chat with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts, while showing off your own Porsche beauty! Swing by at your leisure – no reservation needed.
8/6/2024 – Tuesday – Sippin’ in Dripping’ – The monthly HCR Meet-Up in The Hill Country – this is a standing event on the 1st Tuesday evening of each month 6:30 – 8:30 PM! Just drop in. No reservation needed for this informal opportunity to Meet-Up with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts. 8/8/2024 – Thursday – Lunch Bunch adds yet another new venue to our list of interesting Austin area restaurants. This month we will convene at Pappasito’s Cantina. We have had several successful lunches at Pappasito’s sister restuarant, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. This month we will sample Pappasito’s extensive menu of tasty Tex-Mex dishes. Join us to enjoy some great Tex-Mex food as well as the always enlightening company of your fellow club members.
