7/27/2024 – Saturday – A brand new event, Ladies Brunch, at the League Kitchen and Tavern at Avery Ranch, 10526 W.Parmer Lane, Austin. The venue is located in Building 4, Suite 401. This event is designed for the Women of Porsche who cannot attend a weekday lunch, but would like to gather and meet each other on the weekend. Ladies Brunch begins at 11:30. 8/1/2024 – Thursday – Our advertiser, COBB Tuning, holds an event each first Thursday of the month at their headquarters in Austin, 2311 W. Rundberg Lane, Suite 500. COBB sells their Accessport which remaps a car’s ECU to gain horsepower and torque. They also manufacturer and sell aftermarket performance products; air induction, exhaust, cooling etc. This is a non-PCA HCR event, and various other car manufacturers will be represented there as well. COBB got their start with Subarus and have since branched out to Fords, VW, Audis, Porsches and a few others.
What COBB has planned for us:
- Food and drinks (non-alcoholic) provided for all
- Tech seminar on our Porsche-specific approach to tuning
- On-dyno session with a 95B.1 Porsche Macan GTS (Stock, Stage1, Protune)
- “Garage sale” on past products we’ve used in development that we no longer need
- On-site flashing/installation for any customers that purchase an AP
- Flash-sale pricing across our entire apparel line-up

8/3/2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.
8/4/2024 – Sunday – CENTRAL – Let’s Get Together Rudy’s Country Store, 7709 RR 620, Austin, 9:00 am – 11:00 am. This is a great opportunity to chat with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts, while showing off your own Porsche beauty! Swing by at your leisure – no reservation needed.
8/6/2024 – Tuesday – Sippin’ in Dripping’ – The monthly HCR Meet-Up in The Hill Country – this is a standing event on the 1st Tuesday evening of each month 6:30 – 8:30 PM! Just drop in. 8/8/2024 – Thursday – Lunch Bunch adds yet another new venue to our list of interesting Austin area restaurants. This month we will convene at Pappasito’s Cantina. We have had several successful lunches at Pappasito’s sister restuarant, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. This month we will sample Pappasito’s extensive menu of tasty Tex-Mex dishes. Join us to enjoy some great Tex-Mex food as well as the always enlightening company of your fellow club members.

8/18/2024 – Sunday – North informal Get Together, join us 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance. Red Horn serves great coffee and breakfast items. See you there!
8/24/2024 – Saturday – Please join us on August 24 for a Tech Session at Driven by Design, a new advertiser for the club. We’ll hear a little bit about the services provided by Driven by Design, our local authorized Techart Dealer but the main focus will be understanding how police radar is used and how increased driver awareness and protection can be achieved with the use of the latest radar detector/ app based technology whether you have a radar detector or not. The conversation will include insight from a 17 year veteran police officer who happens to own Driven By Design after retiring.
Of course, breakfast will be available to get the morning off to a good start. Plan on arriving around 8:30 to allow for check-in and breakfast. We’ll get started at 9:00 AM and the session will run for about two hours or so.
There will be a free raffle for a new Escort Max 4 radar detector for all participants in attendance. Driven By Design is located at 12100 FM 1826, Suite 950, Austin. Registration to open in Club Registration on July 25th.
