8/18/2024 – Sunday – North informal Get Together, join us 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance. Red Horn serves great coffee and breakfast items. See you there!
8/24/2024 – Saturday – Please join us on August 24 for a Tech Session at Driven by Design, a new advertiser for the club. We’ll hear a little bit about the services provided by Driven by Design, our local authorized Techart Dealer but the main focus will be understanding how police radar is used and how increased driver awareness and protection can be achieved with the use of the latest radar detector/ app based technology whether you have a radar detector or not. The conversation will include insight from a 17 year veteran police officer who happens to own Driven By Design after retiring.
Of course, breakfast will be available to get the morning off to a good start. Plan on arriving around 8:30 to allow for check-in and breakfast. We’ll get started at 9:00 AM and the session will run for about two hours or so.
There will be a free raffle for a new Escort Max 4 radar detector for all participants in attendance. Driven By Design is located at 12100 FM 1826, Suite 950, Austin. Go to Club Registration to sign up!

Join your fellow members Wednesday, 8/28 at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse located at 5424 Steiner Ranch Blvd., Austin in Steiner Ranch. Steiner Ranch Steakhouse has a great happy hour menu. 9/5/2024 – Thursday – First Thursday at COBB Tuning. Our advertiser, COBB Tuning, holds an event each first Thursday of the month at their headquarters in Austin. COBB sells their Accessport which remaps a car’s ECU to gain horsepower and torque. They also manufacturer and sell aftermarket performance products; air induction, exhaust, cooling etc. This is a non-PCA HCR event, and various other car manufacturers will be represented there as well. Join the fun at COBB Tuning, 2311 Rundberg Lane, (around the back) Austin. Begins at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
9/7/2024 – Saturday – An event for the whole family, tour of the Waldrop private car collection.
Duke & Fay Waldrop extend a personal invitation to the Hill Country families of the PCA to visit their family “Franch” (between a ranch and a farm) just west of Dripping Springs. Your presence would mean a lot to us.
Note: The address in Dripping Springs will be sent to all Confirmed registrants
Come and enjoy the Waldrop collection of motorcycles, cars, trucks, and a boat or two. It’s a diverse collection that is sure to excite any vehicle enthusiast. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch Duke or Fay reminiscing about a car, boat, project, or adventure.
Children are encouraged to attend with HCR members. Separate child waivers will be provided on-site.

9/7/2024 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks 11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.

9/12/2024 – Thursday – Lunch Bunch at Cafe Milano on Southwest Parkway, 11:30 – 1:30 PM.
Lunch Bunch adds yet another entry to its growing list of interesting Austin restaurants. For September, we will head south of the river to Cafe Milano to sample offerings from their menu of authentic Italian dishes. Join us to enjoy some tasty Italian food and the always entertaining company of your fellow club members.
