Registration is now open for the 3rd annual Porsche vs. Ferrari shootout! This highly anticipated event takes places this year on October 14, 2023 at Moorespeed, 7910 Burleson Road, Building #2 in Austin.
Building upon last years excellent event, we will now have a Race Car invitation class in addition to the head to head competition with the Ferrari Club.
This is a fun concours where you have an opportunity to show off your Porsche against the best from the Ferrari Club of Austin. If you recall last year’s event, we had a total of 55 judged Porsches and Ferraris and overall attendance exceeded 350 people.
Judged registration is $75 which will include a custom embroidered Polo shirt, participation emblem and enhanced SWAG bag from our vendors. The best cars in each division will receive an award trophy for 1st and 2nd place. The Judges will also award one Best in Show and all Judged cars will be eligible for gift certificates from our vendors and various supporters.

9/2/2023 – Saturday – Porsche and Coffee at Werks11, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Julian Avent, HCR member and owner of Werks11, hosts Cars and Coffee 201 FM 1237 Troy TX. This is an increasingly popular Saturday opportunity to meet HCR members and other Porsche owners for informal conversation and a chance to ogle the cars in the Werks11 shop.
9/3/2023 – Sunday – Let’s Get Together at Rudy’s Country Store, 7709 RR 620 North, Austin. This is a great opportunity to chat with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts, while showing off your own Porsche beauty! Swing by at your leisure – no reservation needed anytime 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
9/5/2023 – Tuesday – Sippin’ in Drippin’ the HCR Meet-Up in The Hill Country – this is a standing event on the 1st Tuesday evening of each month 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Just drop in, no reservation needed for this informal opportunity to Meet-Up with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts. It’s a host event but please contact Mike Seningen mike.seningen@hcrpca.org with any questions.

9/6/2023 – Wednesday – Our Ladies Luncheon – Come to meet and and visit the women of HCR at the monthly Ladies Lunch. This event will be held at Tuscano, Wednesday September 6th 1525 Cypress Creek Road, Cedar Park, TX. Usual time 11:30 until 1:30. 9/10/2023 – Sunday – Get Together Doin’ Coffee and Donuts in Drippin’ – 9:00 am – 11:00 am. 9/17/2023 – Sunday – Get Together North – Join us 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Red Horn Brewery & Roastery, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander. The entire back parking lot is set aside for HCR members, with picnic tables and our own access through the rear entrance. Our cars will be on full display to anyone coming into the side parking lot entrance. Red Horn serves great coffee and breakfast items, and is a terrific addition to our popular GTGs.

9/21/2023 – Thursday – Brewery Night held from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, at Vacancy Brewing, vacancybrewing.com. 415 E St Elmo Road 1-D2, Austin, Texas, 78745, 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Year round and seasonal beers on tap. Parking and SXSE food truck on site. No registration required.
9/23/2023 – Saturday – HCR Hill Country Backroads to Castell (paved & unpaved)
Explore the backroads of Texas Hill Country with Hill Country’s first-ever Texas-Style Tour including unpaved roads. This scenic family-friendly tour will cover a mix of paved, gravel and dirt roads ending with lunch at Castell General Store. This tour has been planned with Cayenne and Macan owners in mind, however HCR members with SUVs, Jeeps or Pickups of any make are welcome. This event is open for registration on Club Registration.
