Porsche trivia day was held on Saturday, September 29th sponsored by Arsh Khaira and the Modernaire Group at Compass Realty. Master of Ceremonies Don Dominick led the group through a series of trivia questions testing the contestants knowledge of everything Porsche! The Grand Prize winner of the competition was Edward Dean! Congratulations!

We all had a great time. Arsh Khaira once again was a great host and it turned out to be a terrific social event as well.
Apparently this is a secret recruiting trial for prospective new Porsche salesforce. 🙃😉🤣
Absolutely well presented. Well planned . Well attended. To Arsh Khaira , along with members who volunteered to insure the event was well executed, thank you. We all had a fun time, as witnessed by the smiles and laughter. As for the informed members who participated…and to the winner, Edward Dean…you do not need to put a restraining order on your education records. We learned your Porsche knowledge is deep!
Our monthly Happy Hour at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse was amazing as usual..our members are awesome, food and drinks are great… And remember it’s not just the cars … it’s the people!!! Join us every 4th Wed of the month ❤️

Following are some details-
Eliseo, having forged his life in the automotive and motorsports industries, took his first steps as a professional driver in the first La Carrera Panamericana in its new edition, in 1988. At the helm of his 1955 Porsche 356, sponsored by Vanguardia Newspaper and Quaker State, returning in 1989 with Soriana-Hipermart colors.
Ilt`s been 36 years since a posse of 80 adventurous drivers from at least 10 different nationalities spearheaded the revival of the Great Mexican Road Race starting in Tuxtla Gutierrez back in 1988, in the most iconic classic sports and competition cars, stronger and larger every year Motorsports history in Mexico harks back to 1950 when the Pan-American Highway was built as part of a strategy to boost economic activation and tourism, connecting the American continent.
The Pan-American Highway was inaugurated with the first running of the first La Carrera Panamericana in which marques such as Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, Buick, to name a few, took the green flag to win the race.
From 1950 to 1954, La Carrera came to cement itself in the world`s automotive history, next to legendary races like the Targa Florio, the Mille Miglia, The Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans,
The greatest drivers of the era showed up to race La Carrera: Hershel McGriff, Piero Taruffi, Alberto Ascari, Karl Kling, Felice Bonetto, Umberto Maglioli, Hans Herrmann, Phil Hill, Juan Manuel Fangio, amongst many more legendary drivers of all time.
Covering the most exhilarating landscapes and challenging roads, the "La Carrera" puts those who dare take it on to the ultimate test of skill and courage. A hallmark of La Carrera`s transcendence comes thanks to its peerless execution every year.
What is the PCA?
Hill Country Region is a proud region within the national PCA and Zone 5 PCA. You can read more about the Porsche Club of America here, but the core mission is:
