Happy New Year to all our members and their families from the
Executive Council of Hill Country Region.
New years represent change
and the beginning of 2023 is no exception for your Region. Charlie Sparks,
after leading our Region since 2021 is moving on to the role of Immediate Past
President.
Charlie’s tenure as President has been extremely
successful; membership has grown 30%, HCR was named the Ferry Porsche Region of the Year in 2022, as well as
increasing the number of volunteers that plan, schedule and manage all the
activities of the Region.
Charlie will continue to be active as a member of the Executive
Council, lending his advice and consent on decisions that affect HCR. He also
plans to assist in Membership and the Nominating Committee.
Thank you Charlie for providing
leadership from the darkest days of the pandemic to become the best Region in
all of PCA!
For 2023, the new Executive Committee consists of Tuffy von
Briesen, Vice President; Gordie Robbins, Secretary; George Hansen, Treasurer
and myself, Carl Rossi, President.

of our favorite Lunch Bunch North destinations is back on Thursday January 12th
at 11:30 – 1:30 pm. We will have the private room as always but, due to
the restaurant’s staffing issues, we will order at the counter in the main
dining room as we did in August. Join us to enjoy the delicious food and the
uplifting company of your fellow PCA members. No pre-registration or RSVP

kick off the New Year, Lunch Bunch South is Breaking Bread at the League
Kitchen & Tavern at Belterra on Thursday, January 12th at 11:30
am. The League is a unique restaurant that embodies the simple principle
to provide a comfortable, homey, yet creative environment. RSVP is not
necessary but please email [email protected] for an accurate head-count. Bring your appetite but leave any calorie
related New Year’s Resolutions at home! See you there.
